The perfect size
I've only used the colander twice since it came in the mail but I love it. It's the perfect size for everyday prepping and cooking and it looks great. The quality is excellent and I can tell it will last me for another 30 years at least.

Great product
I'm an All-Clad fan. I have bought many cookware from them. I also own the larger version and the small version of this product. They are solid construction and great quality but expensive everything else from All-clad. I like the riveted handles and round base. I have preferred a mesh strainer for thin pasta but you can't have everything. Should last lifetimes.

Last one you'll ever buy.
This colander will last a lifetime. No paint to scratch,won't discolor. Drains like a champ.

Solid Product
I like the solid heft of this colander, as one would expect from the All-Clad brand. The sturdy construction promises a long lasting utensil.
The larger drain holes make this good for rinsing produce that may have some dirt on it, e.g. greens, berries, etc.
As for rinsing rice, however, the holes are too large to adequately contain grains that small -- a wire mesh collander is more appropriate
