Care and Use
• Never use metal utensils, as they will scratch the nonstick grill/griddle plate. Instead, use only wooden or heat-proof plastic utensils.
• Never leave plastic utensils in contact with the hot grill/griddle plate.
• After using, scrape excess food buildup through drip hole and into drip cup, then wipe off any residue with a paper towel before proceeding with next recipe.
• After cooking, turn the temperature control to the Off position and unplug the unit from the power outlet. Allow the until to cool at least 30 minutes before handling.
• Dispose of grease from drip trays and drip cup once cooled. Wash the drip trays and drip cup by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Wash the grill/griddle plate with a soft sponge or cloth in hot water or place in the dishwasher.
• Do not use metal objects such as knives or forks for cleaning the grill/griddle plate. Avoid using a scouring pad or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the nonstick coating.
• If you cook seafood, wipe the grill/griddle plate with lemon juice to prevent the transfer of the seafood flavor to the next recipe.
• The drip trays, drip cup, skewers and hot dog rollers may submerged in water or cleaned in the dishwasher.
• The kebab drawers, housing base and temperature control can be wiped clean with a soft, dry cloth. For tough stains use a damp cloth. The kebab drawers are not immersible or dishwasher-safe.
