Love this kettle!
Love this kettle...easy to use and FAST!! The variable temperature settings are a great feature. My only complaint, and a minor one at that, is that it is a little tall and heavy.

A kitchen essential for coffee & tea lovers
My husband and I both love the Cuisinart PerfectTemp Electric kettle. I enjoy a cup of coffee every morning from my french press and later white tea; my husband drinks green and black tea. Having the water at our fingertips at the perfect temperature is really a wonderful convenience. We are both cooks and are particular about what we bring into our kitchen and we agree this is an essential that we will enjoy for years. This, like my Cuisinart food processor, is one of those appliances that we simply won't do without!

Precise and quick
When you want hot water, you want it quickly, and this product delivers. An easy to set of push buttons on the handle lets you select the precise water temp you want--green, white and black tea, French Press--all the way from warm to boiling. It then holds your preset temperature until you shut it off. There's even a keep-warm feature. A sight glass tells you precisely how much water you've got in the kettle.
The only downside is the weight. By itself, the kettle is quite heavy, and when you're holding it under the faucet to fill it up, that can be quite a chore, not to mention the combined weight when it's filled with water.
Time to heat to desired temperature is quick. Once I turn it on, I've got time to weigh, grind and place my coffee beans in the French Press or Chemex, by which time the water has reached the desired temperature. Ditto for tea.

departure from the norm...
numerous water temperatures for assorted needs - handsome product but quite heavy to handle & rather noisy - appears solidly made & pleasing to the eye - guardedly optimistic as to life of product due to complexity of design.

Excellent Purchase
Being English we drink a lot of tea. I knew different teas require different temperatures, but this was the first good-looking, stainless steel, cordless kettle I could find with the features I wanted. I am delighted with the product and it is certainly fits in with my stainless steel kitchen. If I had any criticism, it would be that it is quite heavy when full. Would I purchase it again? Absolutely. A first-rate product.

Perfect temperature for brewing tea
I purchased the Cuisinart Perfect Temp because It has selectable temperatures for heating hot water for brewing tea and we previously purchased another electric kettle which only boiled water. The selectable temperature is great, and the green tea now taste much better brewed at the perfect temperature. No bitter taste from tea brewed in boiled water. I also like the hold temp feature if I want that additional cup of tea. There are really no Cons.

Great for Tea Drinkers!
This kettle is a very quick and safe way to heat water for tea or when using a cone-style coffee mug. It shuts off automatically and heats water to the best temperature for your beverage of choice.
