departure from the norm...
numerous water temperatures for assorted needs - handsome product but quite heavy to handle & rather noisy - appears solidly made & pleasing to the eye - guardedly optimistic as to life of product due to complexity of design.

Excellent Purchase
Being English we drink a lot of tea. I knew different teas require different temperatures, but this was the first good-looking, stainless steel, cordless kettle I could find with the features I wanted. I am delighted with the product and it is certainly fits in with my stainless steel kitchen. If I had any criticism, it would be that it is quite heavy when full. Would I purchase it again? Absolutely. A first-rate product.

Great for Tea Drinkers!
This kettle is a very quick and safe way to heat water for tea or when using a cone-style coffee mug. It shuts off automatically and heats water to the best temperature for your beverage of choice.

GREAT ELECTRIC KETTLE
My husband is the predominant user of this Cusinart Kettle...and Englishman & his tea, you know. He's very pleased with it. It's attractive, as well. Like all of the Cuisinart products we own, I recommend it absolutely.

Love this kettle!
I drink a lot of tea - black, green, herbal and a some white. These all taste much better with water heated to the correct temperature instead of just guessing. This kettle heats the water very quickly and I can have more water holding at the correct temperature for my second cup. It's a little expensive, but well worth it if you love tea.

Great purchase!
We've owned the older version kettle for years and it has been a great workhorse. We are tea drinkers and use plenty of hot water. But with some delicate teas, especially Sencha, we had to let the water cool down or stop the boil early and it was at best a guess what temperature the water reached when it was poured on the leaves.
We decided to buy this new kettle and put the old kettle up for emergency backup. The decision was really a good decision. The lower temperatures really do make the tea better, less bitter, and certainly less waiting time.
I am certain that the internal element kettle is much more energy efficient than a stove top kettle, and I believe that it is also less energy consumption than a cup of water in our microwave, but I can't help thinking that lower temperature setting uses much less energy than boiling and waiting for it to cool. So all around I think we made a great decision.
I have some hearing loss so I can't here the beeper unless my ear is less than a couple inches away, my wife can apparently hear it anywhere in the house, so I suppose the frequency is in my damaged range. In any case the light around the temperature setting stops flashing when it's ready and I can easily see that, but even if I don't it keeps the temperature setting for a few minutes before shutting off.
A really great buy.
