Good Product
This spoon/spatula feels sturdier than the first generation item it's replacing. I wish the bowl were a bit bigger, though. I haven't had it long enough to know if it is as stain resistant as the originals but have no reason not to expect it to wear well.

Spatula Spoon Heaven
Awesome construction and durable. Have used frying, stirring, mixing, etc. Scoop is great for heavy sauces, yet can flip an egg with ease. Won't melt and is just as advertised. I bought two and am very glad I did.

Love this "spoon-ula"
After purchasing and using the medium silicone spatula I ordered the large spatula and the spatula spoon. The spatula spoon is great! I have used it when making sauces in my Le Creuset Braiser and love the way it turns things over and gets in all of the corners of the pan. It is sturdy yet flexible.

Inspired Design
Aside from the sturdy nature of the spatula itself, the first thing I noticed (and was extremely pleased about) was that the wooden handle has a 'stop' so you can't replace the head too far and eventually tear the silicone. I take the heads of all my spatulas to put them in the dishwasher, and if my husband puts them back on the wooden handles, he always jams them down too far. This design prevents that. I used this first to brown some ground meat, and it was perfect for scraping the bottom of the pan and also breaking up the pieces (because it is so much stiffer than a regular spatula). Wonderful concept!

Love it!
My husband threw away all my beloved wooden spoons because they don't clean well. He bought me this instead and I will never go back to wooden spoons. The silicone part is strong enough for me to mix things like brownies and then move the batter effortlessly to the pan; it's ingenious really. Additionally, I love that the top comes off for cleaning in the dishwasher. The tab that slides inside is strong and long enough to secure the fit. I would call it a Spoonula instead, but love it all the same!

The spatula spoonis SUAPER
The advantage is that you can scrape the sides of a bowl as well as get items out of the middle due to the spoon - love it will need to get additional in other sizes

very useful
I believe that this is the best of the Le Creuset silicone spatula line. My second one. I now prefer it to all my other similar scooper/scraper/spatula tools. The wood handle feels balanced and solid. It should not go in the dish washer to preserve handle.

If only it were available in Caribbean............
But that would be my only complaint. I bought this and one other item so that I wouldn't be scratching my LeCreuset cookware and I'm very happy thus far.
