Superior Cutting Board
I thought only maple wood should be used in the kitchen...wrong. This walnut cutting board is not only a functional asset to cooking, it is also a decorating accent.

Absolutely beautiful
This cutting board looks fantastic on my countertop. It is a beautiful piece of wood - on the heavy side, but expected with something this large.
Cannot believe you ship this for free!

Beautiful Cutting Board!
Very pleased with my purchase of this beautiful walnut cutting board by John Boos Co. The color is rich and the size is perfect (15x20). I love the fact that it is reversible too. It is a winner and I would recommend to anyone, who is shopping for a high quality cutting board.

A great cutting board
We didn't realize that butcher block was "branded" until our recent purchase of a countertop work surface made by Boos. I was so impressed with this countertop that the Boos cutting board caught my eye when we were in the market for a new one. This is a very dense, strong, well made product that appears to be designed to last forever. Both sides of the board are functional, and there are convenient recesses on the ends to make handling / flipping easy ..... nice design detail. We also bought some "magic juice" to seal the board so that we can use it for all types of food. Once again, Chef's has delivered the very best ..... just the reason we use Chef's for our accessories needs!

The most beautiful addition to my humble kitchen!
My Boos walnut cutting board has a prominent place in my kitchen but it will never see a knife! Instead I use it for my bread board and I anticipate using it for the rest of my life!

not happy with product
I purchased the cutting board a couple months ago, when I received it it included "sap wood" through half the board. all of the photos of the product show none or very little "sap wood" the issue is that sap wood and hard wood of a tree are different is density. The sap wood is much softer and will wear differently than the hard wood portion. I have not given up on John Boos, I just want a different board.

I was thrilled with the appearance and weight of this giant cutting board. It is a Christmas gift for one of my daughters, I only wish I had the counter space to get one for myself.
