Not as I remember I first had this mustard at a party in Greenwich Village in the early 80's. It was served as a spread for little toast points.. Fabulous .. We killed the jar. Loved it and could get it many places in NY for about $15. Now it cost double and I think the formula has changed.. Very harsh flavor, too acidic,not at all the really smooth stuff of yesteryear. Magnifique! Here's the deal - mustard on sandwiches, mustard in sauces, mustard as a condiment etc.... So - you take 3 tbls of this mustard and 1 tbl of molasses and mix. Now, coat a seasoned, slightly foured wrack of lamb with the mixture, and press-in 1/2 cups of ground hazelnuts. Roast at 375 for 45 minutes and "voila"! No other mustard has the balance of flavors, acidity and coarseness; its addictive. July 29, 2011
