Storage solution
This collender collapses to about half the space of a regular full size collender. It has one feature I didn't expect, a set of little raised "dimples" on the bottom which holds it off the sink just enough so that it doesn't have to be used over a bowl.
Don't know how durable it will be, but it seems well made.
Two minor complaints: 1) The handles are larger than they need to be, and 2) the edges on the upper stainless steel rim are a little sharp. (I suppose rounding them off would have raised the production costs.)

The colander is the best ever, no problem with a storage area, fits right in with my pan lids for easy access.

The Collapsible Collander is a great space saver. The sturdy construction is perfect for everyday use.

Great device: compact in storage, nicely made
This is a great colander. It folds to about 2" high. We have two, and they easily fit within the cupboard spot the older units were.
They work great, and look great too. The only downside is the price.

Lot's of Drainage Holes
DRAINAGE: I bought this to replace another Collapsible Colander after I thought about my colander only having drainage at a small area at the bottom; it was wire mesh which trapped pieces of pasta that were hard to scrape out. I like this for the number of drainage holes all around the colander.
HANGER: I hang my colander on the inside cabinet door so this hook works really well for hanging. My other colander hung by the rather thick handle so it was a challenge to get it off the hook without pulling the hook off the cabinet door.
