Great for Ice Cream & Other Desserts
I ordered the stainless steel ice cream spoons to use for serving ice cream and other desserts. The spoons do a great job with hard or soft ice cream and the unique design and shape of the spoons can get every last drop. However, the spoons are very light, thin and are made for smaller hands (kids). If you have large hands, it may be difficult to use these spoons. Overall though., these spoons do a good job with many types of desserts.

I'm from Argentina we use flat spoons for the ice cream since I remember 1950's and the are the best, my mother in a trip to our native country she brought me a set (12) and I found this only in Chefs catalog so this set is for my daughter in law they love my spoons when they come to my house and use them I know they are going to love this set.

Good quality and perfect for getting that last bit
Many times we eat our frozen goodie out of the carton. These spoons make that very easy with the straight eedge. Good quality and a good find. My grandkids love them!!!

I have been looking for some spoons for ice cream. I am glad my search is over, just before the start of summer. I am sure this set will be of constant use.

Easy to use but not for man hands.
The front, straight edge is useful with hard ice cream. Keeps the ice cream in the bowl, a plus.
The handle is too thin and short, almost flimsy. Great for kids and female but us guys have a hard time with the small size.
A little pricey too.

Cute But Not Effective
From the promotional material, I thought these would be especially strong and sturdy spoons for negotiating very hard ice cream. In fact, they are rather small and not especially sturdy. They are "cute" but if I'd known their size I wouldn't have purchased them. The ice tea spoons I'd been using before receiving these are equally ineffective against hard-frozen ice cream. I'll continue to let the ice cream melt before eating.

Great for hard Ice Cream
Bought this for a gift. The best feature of this is that it can scoop through hard Ice Cream. Which, for the person I bought this for, is great because they eat ice cream every day.
