Pricey but the best
I have been a professional chef for over 35 years. During that time I've used Magnalite, calphalon, Debuyer and Demeyer cookware in addition to All-Clad. This cookware is the best I've used. The biggest secret is to make sure that you don't crank up the heat under the pan or pot unless you're boiling water. The superb conductivity of the cookware doesn't need the extra heat.
Yep it's pricey, but this cookware will last you a lifetime as well as your children and grandchildren. My oldest piece of All-Clad is a saute Pan that I bought in 1978 and it still outperforms the competition.

Great quality, great price
I find that this size 1.5 qt is very handy anytime I am cooking a meal or just heatling things up. The pan is heavy and does not tip easily. It cleans beautifully.

This is the perfect sauce pan for any kitchen
I love the feel of the sauce pan and the way it heats. It is alot more versatile than the non stick 2 qt that I had been using. The only small problem can be clean up, especially if you want to maintain the "just bought" stainless steel look but I would highly recommend this sauce pan. It is well worth the cost!

Why offer a lifetime warranty?
We bought a set of All-Clad pots that were seconds at Function Juncion 30+ years ago. They are as solid as the day we bought them, so I didn't even go through the hassle of filling out a warranty form for the new ones we recently bought. I absolutely hate having to re-buy anything so I usually overbuy everything I get and All-Clad fills the bill perfectly!

Sturdy and well built, heats and cooks rapidly.
I was hesitant at first because of the price differance from more prominant brands. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for"! I have used pots from a very well known brand and eperianced rust spots showing up inside the pots. Even one from the set that wasn't used right away, came out of the box with little rust spots and dull finish inside. I have not seen this happening with my All Clad pot. I am also pleased to be able to buy a truly made in America product, that is worth the higher price.

a sauce pan you will love!
I am from the generation where a RevereWare stainless-steels pan with a copper bottom was the best ever. Yes it was easy to burn things in it's thin stainless bottom, but it was the best of an era.
Now after buying a 1.5 quart All-Clad sauce pan, it's first a beauty, and great to use; the bottom spreads heat evenly, but so do the sides, and it is a dream to wash. Handle is comfortable to hold even when the pan is hot, due to it's curved shape, and the glass lid lets you see how your food is cooking. I bought this pan on sale, and am saving up for a larger matching pan.
