Use and Care
• Before first use, wash the new cookware set in the dishwasher or in hot water with a mild soap or dish detergent. Rinse the cookware thoroughly and dry immediately.
• Do not use your tri-ply stainless cookware on high heat. Food will burn.
• Immediately after each use, fill the cookware with hot water and liquid dish detergent; let stand until lukewarm. Use a sponge or soft dish cloth to remove any remaining food particles. Do not use steel wool or other metal pads that make coarse scratches. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
• Cuisinart French Classic cookware is dishwasher-safe, but the soil from other dishes may be abrasive. If the dishwasher is carelessly packed, other dishes or flatware may mar the surface of the cookware. Over a long period, regular dishwasher cleaning will eventually scratch any cooking pan. Using a non-lemon dishwasher detergent is recommended.
• To safeguard the interior surface of the cookware, it is best to use only plastic and wooden utensils. Metal utensils and metal beaters may scratch the cooking surface, but will not impair the performance or durability of the cookware.
• The Cuisinart tri-ply cookware is oven-safe up to 500 F. Cookware is also broiler-safe. Always use oven mitts to remove the hot cookware from the oven.
