This unit is the best slicer that I have ever purchased. It is the nearest to a commercialslicer that I have ever owned and I have owned several.Cleaning is absolutely the easiest it can be..This is the last slicier I expect to buy.

This slicer works exactly as I had hoped. I used it twice in the first week and made quick work of 11 lbs. of ham. I can now have deli sliced meats at home without the deli sliced price !

Great bargain
I don't need a meat slicer often but when I do I want something that performs well and is reliable. I can't afford a top of the line slicer but this one really does a thoroughly admirable job. It is a little bit of a pain to clean up but I suspect all slicers would be. I was absolutely and totally delighted with its performance and would recommend it to anyone who simply cannot afford a top of the line slicer. This one does a great job.

The slicer works great, but I wish I had gotten a little larger slice area (old age has a way of my not thinking things through before I act).......I hate having to cut big roasts in half but it works very very well.

Nice slicer
The ChefsChoice 615 is well made (little flex), sturdy, disassembles for cleaning easily. Its a good design. The control knob is marked in divisions of about 1 millimeter allowing medium-thin deli slicing..
The noise level produced is not unusual, and less than most blenders & mixers, but considerably louder then a large pro slicer.

Excellent slicer.
I really like this slicer. I never would have attempted to make homemade bacon without it. It has 20 thickness settings, I used the #4 one for the bacon. It is easy to use and clean up when done. I will be making beef jerkey next, and will continue to find other uses for this fine machine. Plus it's fun to use.
