Works better than plain mineral oil.
I have to admit, when I got my food grade Boos countertop for my work island, I figured why pay so much money for mineral oil to use on it. I bought plain mineral oil and have used it multiple times. Then I read that this product is more than just plain mineral oil and I bought it and yes, I do see a difference. It works. The countertop has a richer color and feel to it. I also used Boos Block Cream. I would highly recommend both products.

This product does what it says it will.
Had some real old wood handle knives passed down from the family and a butcher block given to me by a very dear woman whose brother made it for her. All were dry and look very worn. Applied the oil and it brought them back to the rich warm look that I am sure they were like when new. Am so glad it did and I know that now I can use them again and they won't crack from washing them. This product also goes a long way as I did all of them and hardly used any at all.

Good Stuff
This is good stuff. We use it on our butcher block counter, cutting boards, and even wooden utensils.

Keeps wooden cutting boards in great shape!
It only takes a minute to rub down your clean wood cutting board with this product. Adds years to it's life span! Wouldn't be without it.

protects and restores cutting board
Good cutting boards are relatively expensive --this product protects your investment and by properly caring for your cutting board also helps give peace of mind that your board won't develop cracks and places difficult to clean and potential spots for bacteria to grow. So use of this mystery oil keeps my board moist and pretty, and healthier, without leaving a waxy residue.

The greatest stuff
My husband says this is the greatest stuff for maintaining or restoring butcher block or any unfinished wood surface.

Boos is truly a "mystery" oil
I had purchased another major brand for my butcher blocks (I have 1 large Catskill board and 4 small) and that brand was just "OK." I was really pleased with the Boos oil and although it did soak in quickly, it did require several coats to achieve a wonderful luster and it covered up all the chopping marks with ease!
At first the word "mystery" threw me, and I smiled as this rich, smooth oil dribbled on and I wiped the Catskill board (also a shameless endorsement) with a paper towel.
Boos is an excellent product and I will get the cream to compliment the mystery oil.
