Simple, Quick, Fool-Proof
I had a previous Taylor digital read thermometer--took forever to start and then the machinations to operate it were awful. This new Taylor is ideal. Quick to work and almost instant-read. So simple to operate, no fuss, no bother. Top quality.

Needs More Quality Control!!!
The instrument is accurate but the digital display is less then desired. The first one I ordered did not display all the numbers, so it was returned. The second one I received has display dead-spots when the probe is moved from one angle to another. You have to play with it to find the sweet spot to keep the display lit. I'm not returning the second instrument because I can live with it like this, and who knows what will be delivered the third time around! It does appear to be accurate in the temperature read-outs which is the important thing.

Not Bad.
I have used it now a few times. The thermometer is faster then my old one and seems to be accurate. It does take longer then 3 seconds to reach the temperature but not by much.

Quick to respond
The unit was a little larger than I expected, but now I have used it a few times I really like it. Comfortable to handle, extremely quick response and I like being able to adjust the angle of the probe, even while it is in use

I own 2 of these. I have also purchased 1 for each daughter. This one is for a friend.
It gives immediate temp....air temperature as soon as you open probe. The probe slides into roasts easily. I use it to be sure the centers of microwaved dishes are completely cooked. The so-called "instant thermometers" aren't. This is instant info.
