Great for small pies to!
I did all my holiday shopping with them this year (just as I did last year) and it was totally carefree. Iâve already given these pie shields to my co-workers and they were a hit! Also kept one for myself. Now my small pie crusts come out perfectly, just like the big pies, as I purchased some of these pie shields in the large size as well. My only problem is I wish I had more!

Convenient
Works as described. Much easier to use than messing with the foil to try to cover the edges. We are lovers of pot pies and they fit the larger size perfectly.

I terribly sorry to have to say that the silicone Pot Pie shields did not work as I expected them to. The crust around the pot pie was worse than when I use to just use aluminum foil.

Silicone Poat Pie Shield
How handy theses little shields are. Now I don't have to mess with the strips of metal foil, which I found hard to get just the edges covered and not the sides. Now the whole pie is covered in brown crusty goodness and the edges are not burned.

Good product at a very reasonable price
When I bought these silicone pie shields I was not to sure they would work as well as the description in the Chef's catalog described. But boy do they ever work and do the job well. No more burnt edges, wooopeee !

A mistake!
I had been using aluminum foil to cover the edges of pot pies
when I heat them. Your ad seemed to be the answer and I sent for them immediately.
However, the shields did not perform as the advertising copy
promised. The fluted edge was COMPLETELY burned to a crisp.
So, I guess it is back to aluminum foil.
