I had been looking for a soup/blender for more than 3-years and just could never decide on one. Well, I hit the jackpot with the cuisinart soup maker and blender. It is everything they said it would be and more. It makes great soup, it's easy to clean, and i use it for smoothies everyday. I love it so much that I told my sister about it and she will be purchasing one. It make life easy in the kitchen! I was really surprised by the mini cookbook that came with my purchase. I have tried some of the recipies and they are super easy, and good! I would recommend this to anyone. For anyone looking to eat healtheir, this is a dream made in heaven!!

Life can get better
My companion brought the Health Master a two years ago and was very unhappy with it. She gave it to me, and shortly thereafter the motor burned out "$250.00+ S&H gone.
She order the Cuisinart we made a vegetarian soup that was fabulous and I immediately ordered one for myself.
We bought have begun making "GREEN DRINKS" and feel so much better. The price was unbelievable for such a powerful machine.

At last in America!
I am elated. The Cuisinart Soup Maker has arrived in the USA. Thank you Chef's catalog. For 2 years I have envied the European cooks who had this superb piece of equipment. Now I have mine. I have tried 2 of the book recipes now I am off using my own favourites. Easy fresh soup with minimum of effort. Every coook should have one!

Amazing all-in-one
This is a wonderful product. It heats rapidly for quick cooking and has a powerful blender. There are recipes included, but I just made potato soup from an on-line recipe that tasted great. I can now make soup after work during the week which I never had time for previously. You do need to slice the vegetables, but that's all the work involved. No more messy pots to clean, just add water, heat, add a few drops of dish-washing liquid, blend and rinse.

Love, Love This
This is the easiest appliance to use. It's great when you don't want to make soup for a crowd, it's just enough for 4 with some left over. It comes with a recipe book, but with some adjustments you can use your own recipe. It comes out pefect every time. I waited for Chefs to carry this for a while and I am so glad I bought it. Just wouldn't be without it. Two of my neighbors loved it so much, they purchased one for their family! It's a very cool item, you won't be sorry, it's a keeper!

A disappointment!
I needed a replacement for my old blender and thought the idea of a blender/soupmaker would do the job of two appliances. I never got to use the soupmaker function before I returned it, but it doesn't work well as a blender. The glass jar is heavy and the base is quite wide. It was a challenge getting the base screwed on. The shape of the jar was not good for blending-unblended food remained around the bottom and wasn't pushed up in the jar. A little brush was provided for cleaning around the blades, but the piece can't be submerged in water due to the additional soupmaker parts. After two weeks of use, my husband noticed a crack had developed in the plastic base. I returned the soupmaker and ordered a Vitamix blender instead. IIt's made in the USA, has a one-piece polycarbonate jar, and is backed by a 7 yr warranty. You definately get what you pay for!
