Use and Care
Cleanup for the Cuisinart Soup Maker and Blender is quick. Just add water, a drop of dishwasher liquid and blend. The soup maker, carafe and lid are also top-rack dishwasher safe.
Be sure lid is on and measuring cup is in lid opening when blending hot liquids.
Do not use anything other than the measuring cup to cover or close lid opening to avoid obstructing heater vents.
Lid should always be in place while the Cuisinart Soup Maker and Blender is on.
Caution: Collar is hot when making soup. Handle carefully. Keep hands away from the underside of collar, which will be very hot. Do not put your hand on top of blender while blending. Hot steam can come through vents.
Avoid placing blender jar on base when motor is running.
Do not twist blender collar from blender jar when removing blender jar from base. Simply lift blender jar from motor base.
Do not clean the heating plate with abrasive tools
Use a plastic or wooden spatula as needed, only when blender is turned off. Never use metal utensils, as damage may occur to the blender jar, heating plate or cutting assembly.
