Easy to use.
We use this product to create egg/cheese/sausage breakfast sandwiches. We just pour the scrambled egg mix into the ring. The handle helps in removing the rings easier once the eggs are cooked. The non-stick surface allows the eggs to slide right out.

Great gift for an Aussie POME
Very good gift for anyone who likes poached eggs that really taste like they are poached and not just steamed. There really is a difference in the taste. Just be certain to tell the recipient to oil the rings before use, so that the residue washes off with no problem.

They do the job.
We purchased these so we could prepare our own version of the popular fast food breakfast. We have a differently sized set, purchased long ago. These can go in the dishwasher. They make a thicker egg and you need to watch the temperature of your pan (or griddle) so that your egg doesn't overcook on the bottom before the top is set. They work very well, best if pre-sprayed with cooking spray prior to heating. We use them regularly. The fold-down handles make them much easier to store than our previous ones.

Not worth trying
I found that you must use a perfectly flat skillet or the white of the egg will run under the ring. Even my griddle would not work. Don't bother ordering this product

product worked perfectly
your pan MUST be flat. Pam or butter the inside of the rings and they will release beautifully. Perfect fit for an english muffin. I"ve had other rings that were junk, these are not.

disappointed
the problem with this gadget is that even at low heat, the bottom of the egg is going to cook much faster than the top of the egg, so the bottom will be tough and brown before the top is even completely cooked. i'm surprised no one else mentioned this. i'm a good cook using good quality cookware, and i have tried this several times, with modifications, and the same results. you have to flip the egg over (after removing the ring) so that the top of the egg will finish cooking.
it is the right size for a mc muffin, but it's easier and works better to put the scrambled egg into a custard cup for a minute in the microwave.
had same uneven cooking problems with unscrambled egg in nonstick pan on gas range.
didn't help to put a lid on the pan to keep heat in.
had no problem with sticking (used a dab of nonstick spray on the inside of the ring), or with uncooked egg leaking from under the ring, as some reviewers did.
maybe i can figure out some other use for these. until then, they are taking up space in a drawer.
