Baking Stones
My wife baked 4 Christmas pies. The "Stones" were very useful in making a very "flaky" crust. But, they need to be purchased in two sets (bags) to cover the pie crust bottom. This helps the crust to hold it's shape.

First time using pie weights
I have always struggled with my pie crusts turing out well. This product works very well. I would highly recommend it!

Great for baking empty pie shells!
These are perfect for baking pie shells! They prevent the bubbles forming on the bottom of the shell, and you don't have to make holes in the bottom with a fork, allowing the filling to leak through.

Good Weight. Easy to clean and re-use.
Pie weights are hard to find locally. I liked these and the price was right.

Orka Double Ceramic Pie Weights
I used your pie weights when baking a single pie crust. I brought it out of the oven when it was lightly browned and added my pie filling and continued to bake my pie. The pie crust was perfect! It didn't shrink and stayed flat on the botton. My pie was wonderful! The pie weights are GREAT. Thank You for a terrific product.

I like the double weights
These worked as I expected. I like that the weights are double because they are easier to place in the pie shell and to get out. I've only used them once so I'm looking forward to see how they perform over time.

A "neat" item
With the holidays at hand, I won't be doing much pie bbaking. But I am anxious to try them. I think they willl be a great addition to kitchen equipment and handy to use. They'll always be ready to use and clean up easily when necessary.

Didn't work as expected
I have never used ceramic pie weights before these. However, I was disappointed because they left dents in the crust and the crust also did not brown under the dents. They also are difficult to move around on the crust because they are connected and do not "roll". Taking them off the crust is also difficult for the same reason. I am going back to using beans or perhaps trying the metal bead chain I have seen advertised. I would return them except the shipping cost would be almost as much as the cost of the weights.
