Finally Large enough for all use
This Mortar and Pestle is GREAT. When I travel to Mexico I always see them using large products like this. Then at home mine has been small and everything falls over the edge. NOW I can make and grind anything without it falling out on the counter. I recommend this product VERY much.

Its real easy to make homemade guacamole with pit.

The large size is very practical.
The mortar proved easy to season though easier with the kosher salt than with the white rice which did not pulverize.
I particularly like the large capacity. I made guacamole and easily fit three avocados into its bowl.

Itâs great for making an avocado dip. The weight of the mortar keeps it from moving while your mixing, Cleanup is a breeze and it looks cool.

Mortar and Pestil
Ordered two. The quality is good, but they are much too large and heavy for my needs. I am now older. When I was younger and cooking for large groups, they would have been great. It is now too much weight for me to lift. Did return items. Chef's has a great return policy.
