Good idea but didn't live up to expectations
We wound up returning this item because, for the price, it was little better than our glass French press, for which we have a cozy. It's very attractive looking, but even with pre-heating the pot, the temperature of the coffee, on the second cup, was about the same as with the other press. Also, the lid has a certain position and it was annoying finagling with it to get it on correctly. It seemed to be well-made and we were disappointed that it did not keep the coffee hot longer.

Not a huge fan
It is functional at best. The press restraining plunger is configured in such a way that tea leaves get caught around the edges and are really hard to dislodge. Won't throw it away, but would not purchase again.

8 Cups equal 8 - 5 oz cups
I would recommend this product only if the person does not drink more than a few cups of coffee at one sitting.
The French Press is beautiful and I truly wish it would have worked for me, but between my husband and I we drink at least 6 regular size cups of coffee a day. I was under the assumption that this was an 8 (8 oz) coffee press. Sadly I am returning this beautiful French Press.

This product has a poor design
Upon using the French press Coffee pot I found the top was loose in the opening of the pot. When poring coffee the top tilted forward and coffee leaked down along the front of the pot and spilled on the counter. This is due to poor spout design. When opening and closing the inner filter screen It was difficult to do because of the threaded parts. I returned it two days later.

I love this Pot. My coffee would only stay hot for 30 minutes in my last French press, but this insulated Bonjour pot keeps the coffee piping hot for 2 hours!...love it

Best French Press, yet!
This beautiful and functional coffee maker has enhanced my coffee experience greatly. It keeps the coffee hot, looks great, is high quality. My only wish is that it were larger as it is not large enough for two people.

This is the real deal. Easy as pie to use and what great coffee....and I don't live in fear of a glass explosion!
