Originally specializing in copper products, today Mauviel 1830 also produces stainless-steel and aluminum cookware with the company's same legendary design and performance. Use and Care
Before first use and after use, carefully hand wash your Mauviel M'cook stew pot with hot soapy water then rinse and dry.
How to make your M'cook stainless-steel soup pot nonstick: 1) Place the Mauviel M'cook pan over medium heat and allow to heat for 1 minute. 2) Add 2 tablespoons of olive or canola oil (depending on what you're cooking) to the pan. 3) Let the oil warm up for 30 seconds. Now you can cook whatever you want and nothing will stick.
Do not leave cookware on high heat for a long period of time or leave an empty pan on a heated burner for an extended period of time.
Use the soup pot with all types of utensils, but nonmetal utensils are recommended to better protect the cookware surface.
The Mauviel stainless-steel soup pot is oven-safe to 680 F and safe for broiler use.
Always use protective pot holders or oven mitts when handling hot cookware.
M'cook pans are dishwasher-safe but hand washing is recommended to better protect the finish. Allow the Mauviel M'cook stew pot to cool before washing.
Do not use bleach when cleaning your Mauviel M'cook stainless-steel soup pot. Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents. Stubborn food residue and stains can be removed with a nylon scrubbing pad and a fine-powdered cleanser.
