Use and Care
• Before using your Calphalon Contemporary nonstick sauce pan for the first time, hand wash in warm, sudsy water and dry thoroughly.
• Preheat the sauce pan using the heat setting you intend to use when cooking, before adding butter or oil. Do not rush the preheating process by using high heat.
• Nonstick sauce pan is oven-safe to 450 F but not safe for broiler use. Cookware is safe for gas, ceramic, glass, electric and halogen stove tops.
• Use with nylon, coated or wooden utensils to better protect the cookware surface is safe for use with nylon, coated or wooden utensils.
• Allow sauce pan to cool completely before washing. Never immerse a hot pan in cold water as this may cause irreparable warping.
• Hand wash only, not dishwasher-safe. Never place cookware in an automatic dishwasher, or use abrasive cleaning pads or cleansers that can damage the pan and void the warranty. Clean with a liquid dishwashing detergent and a non-abrasive sponge or soft bristle brush. For stubborn spots on the exterior only, use Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser and a non-abrasive sponge.
