Great pan!
I recently purchased another 13 inch skillet from another brand because it was 50% off. It was a well known brand but was not even on the bottom and would not saute evenly; I ordered the Calphalon pan and have used it for a lot of my holiday preparations. It cooks evenly and clean up is a breeze. I would highly recommend this pan for any one who cooks in large quantities.

Great pan at a great price.
I love this pan. It covers so many bases. From browning and frying meat to stir frying to slow simmering Barbeque chicken to keep it tender. Then it washes clean in a minute. I have stopped using three of my other pans and use this one instead. It also has a great fitting lid.

Top quality!
I am absolutely loving my Calphalon. The quality is over the top. Foods cook evenly and clean up is a breeze. I can't comment on its longevity but from the looks of it, I'll be using this product for a long, long time.

Excellent special purpose pan
This is the largest pan I have ever used. It seems larger than the advertised 13 inches, it is also deeper than I thought it would be. I have used it as a wok for stir fry and pan grilled some large fish filets. It could easily take a large pot roast and brown it, then go straight to the oven. I have no idea about the durability since I've only had it two weeks but so far I really like it. Storage is a challenge, the pan is quite large so I'm keeping in the oven when not in use.

My go-to pan. Deep sides for any type frying, large capacity for family meals. Robust constructiom keeps pan shape. Almost, the perfect pan.

I had purchased this pan at least 10 years ago, a bit smaller but also a Caphalon fry pan, I used it at least 3 times a week, and it just started to show signs of wear, which is why I purchased this one, it's bigger, and I love it! It cleans up easily, and holds a lot of chicken and veggies at the same time!

I was a loyal Calphalon user for years. I love the feel and look of the pans as well as their performance--I always thought their quality and value were superb! My old nonstick pans finally started showing their wear recently, so I fell for some marketing and purchased a set from another brand. Needless to say, less than a year later those are being donated and I am back to my old standby. This pan is my husband's favorite of the bunch. We use it practically every day--it is the perfect size for family meals. We absolutely love cooking with it. Plus it's beautiful to look at. I am so happy to have my old friend Calphalon back in my kitchen--will never make the mistake of buying another brand of cookware again!
