Use and Care
• Before using your 12" Calphalon omelette pan for the first time, hand wash in warm, sudsy water and dry thoroughly. Wipe the interior with a light coat of cooking oil to condition the cooking surface.
• Use a lower heat setting than you normally would, as the nonstick omelette pan heats and cools more quickly than other cookware due to the heavy-gauge construction.
• Slide nonstick omelette pan is oven-safe to 500 F and glass cover is safe to 450. Slide nonstick cookware is not safe for broiler use.
• Use with nylon, coated or wooden utensils to protect the cookware surface.
• Allow the 12" Calphalon omelette pan to cool completely before washing. Never immerse a hot skillet in cold water as this may cause irreparable warping.
• Calphalon omelette pan is dishwasher-safe, but hand washing helps protect the cookware's finish. Do not use detergents that contain bleach or citrus additives. To wash by hand, simply clean with a liquid dishwashing detergent and a nonabrasive sponge or soft bristle brush. Maintain the finish with Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser and a nonabrasive sponge.
