This product is GREAT! I love my stirrer!! It is a very well made product that works great! I use it all the time, especially for my family parties. I use it a lot for my pasta sauce, and with a young toddler running around, it really helps free up my hands/time. It really is something that everyone should have in their kitchen. Works well Finally a stirrer that almost works perfectly for making yogurt and cottage cheese. Without this stirrer I had to go to the pot to stir about every 5 minutes - now I can let the stirrer do the work. It does not scrape clean but does get enough of the settled curds moving so that none burn and the pan is easy to wash afterwards. I am very pleased and it has been a long search for a stirrer. Thank you CHEFS for selling this product. April 25, 2012

Fills limited role well. At this price point, I would have hoped for a somewhat more robust & versatile appliance. That said it works well as a stirrer for 2 handled stock pots. I would have liked a stirrer that would work in saute pans. I would not use it with non-stick surfaces or anodized cookware as the end of the steel drive shaft rests on the bottom of the pot.
