With classic design and durability, Mason Cash upholds their tradition of producing high-quality glazed earthenware. Select minerals and clays form a nonporous bond, and the specially-formulated vitreous glaze creates an impermeable layer resistant to scratches and abrasions. This original design is the preferred shape of bakers, with wide rim and sculpted pattern allowing a firm grip to hold in one arm and blend ingredients. Ideal sizes to whisk eggs, mix ingredients, knead dough or blend batter. These heavyweight, thick composition mixing bowls stay in place while mixing by hand or using a handheld mixer. Excellent Bowls!!! Great bowls in all the sizes you need....just a warning though; the sticker that is attached to each bowl is a little difficult to remove....it took a brillo pad on one of them to remove....the other 2 came off with mild scrubbing. March 13, 2012

I love these bowls!!!! I love good mixing and or serving bowls so these are great on both accounts. I believe one can never have enough bowls so these were a no brainer for me. when a friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday? I saw these and had to have them. These bowls are beautifully made First of all, they're not primitive pottery like some of my bowls. These are well glazed inside and out. They stack quite closely to one another, so I set a thick washcloth between them, allowing the rims to be separate from one another. This gives my fingers a way to grasp them easily when needed. I wouldn't hesitate to use these for serving in any occasion. They're beautiful. The big one would hold enough potato salad for a gigantic crowd, the medium would hold all the mashed potatoes 10 of us would need at the table, and the small would hold more than enough homemade pico de gallo for a dozen or more. These bowls would be a prized gift - wedding maybe. But these are mine, all mine!! January 23, 2012
