This metal peel did a great job Prior to purchasing this metal peel we had been using a wooden peel to remove our pizza from our oven after we cooked it on a baking stone. We make super thin crusted pizzas and sometimes the cheese spills over or there is a little tear in the crust as we transfer the pizza to the oven. This metal peel does a great job of loosening any parts of the pizza that stick to the stone. However â we do wish that the peel had a bigger surface. Our pizzas are always bigger than the peel so we use the metal peel to transfer the pizza to the wooden peel to cut and serve it. April 23, 2012

as advertised Perfect for making homemade pizzas. Easy to clean. However, it arrived with a very small bend on the business end. I was able to straighten it out so it is functional April 27, 2012

Great peel for the home I have bought a few all wood peels from several different manufacturers. So far they have all warped, split or splintered with normal use. Maybe you will have better luck if you find one made out of a singular piece of wood. The Pizzacraft Aluminum has held up to my expectations so far. It's nicely balanced and a good length for the home kitchen. Slides right under the pizza or bread and lifts for turning or removal with ease. Solid construction. Extremely easy to clean. Nice hook built into end of handle so you can hang it anywhere. Very happy with this peel. January 31, 2012
