Use and Care
• Before using your Cuisinart muffin pan for the first time, hand wash in warm, sudsy water and dry thoroughly. The bakeware is dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to better protect the nonstick surfaces.
• The Cuisinart nonstick bakeware is oven-safe to 450 F but not safe for broiler use.
• Use with nylon, coated or wooden utensils to better protect the cookware surface. Using metal utensils on any nonstick surface will damage the surface over time. Always remove food from the muffin pan before slicing or cutting. The nonstick surface makes it easy to remove foods cleanly and completely.
• Before you place the Cuisinart bakeware in water, allow it to cool. Placing a hot pan in cooler water can warp the muffin pan and can create sudden steaming and hot water spattering.
• Use a sponge or dishcloth with hot, sudsy water to remove food from the nonstick bakeware's baking and exterior surfaces. For burned-on foods or stubborn spots caused by high baking temperatures, use a nonabrasive cleaner and a soft nylon or nylon-coated cleaning pad. Keeping the exterior free of built-up grease and food stains helps to maintain the pan's appearance and performance.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, cleaning pads, oven cleaners or other caustic solutions, as these will damage the bakeware's nonstick surfaces and void the lifetime warranty.
