Use and Care
The Wusthof Grand Prix II Colour studio knife set cutlery is dishwasher-safe but hand washing is recommended. In the dishwasher, your Wusthof knives and kitchen shears may bang against other cutlery or pots and pans and knick the blades.
Your kitchen shears come apart for thorough sanitation and easily locks back into place. Wipe the blades of the knives and kitchen shears clean with a wet cloth and dishwashing detergent. Dry immediately.
No metal is completely stain-free. To prevent slight tarnishing of your 5-piece kitchen knife set, be sure to remove acidic foods (lemon, mustard, ketchup, etc.) from the knife blade after use. If blade should show some signs of staining, clean with a nonabrasive metal polish.
To prevent irreparable blade damage, it is best to store your kitchen knives in the knife block. Maintain the knives' edges regularly with a Wusthof steel or pull-through sharpener.
Wipe your Wusthof knife block with a warm soapy cloth and wipe dry.
Preserve knife block periodically with mineral oil.
