The Wusthof Le Cordon Bleu collection is the first cutlery to bear the name of the world's most renowned culinary academies. Created by Wusthof and Le Cordon Bleu head chefs, the cutlery features a specially designed half-bolster that allows cutting and sharpening along the entire blade edge. Compared to the Wusthof Classic knives, the Wusthof Le Cordon Bleu chef's knife is 30% lighter for easier handling and repetitive cutting.

The Wusthof Le Cordon Bleu 8" hollow ground chef's knife is also ideal for mincing parsley and cilantro and trimming melon rinds and bread crusts. Perfectly balanced for optimum control and cutting ease, the Wusthof chef's knife is precision forged of high-carbon, stain-resistant steel. Exclusive Precision Edge Technology makes the cutlery 20% sharper with twice the edge retention than Wusthof knives without this exacting edge.

For extra sharpness, each mirror-finish edge is honed to a 14-degree angle compared to a conventional 20 degrees. The seamless, hygienic synthetic handle is triple-riveted with a full tang to ensure a comfortable, slip-resistant grip. Since 1814 Wusthof has handmade its knives in Germany and the Wusthof Le Cordon Bleu collection is the official cutlery used by Le Cordon Bleu students across the globe.
