Use and Care
  • • Before using your Superstone Covered Baker, season the inside bottom with a light coating of vegetable or olive oil.
  • • Safe for use in a conventional, convection or microwave oven to 500 F.
  • • Be sure the Superstone covered baker cools to room temperature before washing.
  • • Do not add any frozen foods to the baker and be sure not to expose it to extremes in temperatures, as it could break due to thermal shock.
  • • Do not use soap on your Superstone covered baker. Rather, scrub it with a wire brush or scouring pad under running water and let air dry. Over time, your Sassafras Superstone bakeware will darken. This is part of the natural seasoning process.
