Just what I needed
I love Speghetti Squash cooked in the microwaive but always manage to scald my hands trying to hold the squash while scraping out the insides. This worked perfectly, no scalding and no wet pot holders.

Outstanding.
These oven mitts are great. I got two of them so when I have to grab a cast iron pan or baking sheet with inadequate handles I can just do what I need to do and not have to hold the oven open unnecessarily while I fumble with one hand trying to grip/maneuver the hot metal with one hand. The gripping surface is secure and heat resistance won't be affected if it gets wet like my last oven mitt. Fit more snugly than I expected, but not so much that it's a problem.
