Perfect size. Very sturdy
This is an excellent cake lifter. I found about it from America's Test Kitchen's recommendation and I am very happy with its quality.

Jumbo cake lifter
I wish I had this years ago when I was really baking a lot of cakes!! This makes it so easy to lift layers and the whole cake if necessary.

Great product
I can use this to remove things from the oven, not just lift cake layers. it is very sturdy and does't bend.

Far sturdier than I expected. Not flexible, so no chance of item falling off. Will explore other uses.

It's BIG
This Cake Lifter does just that. I mean it lifts the whole thing and it's very stable. Great Stuff.

What a surprise!
I bought this cake lifter because I make a lot of cakes and some are filled with fruit or other delicious fillers. I was VERY surprised with the product. It is HUGE! I looked at it and thought how well it would flip pancakes and other kitchen uses. I recently made a full sheet lemon filled cake. It took three people and four spatulas to transfer it. With this spatula it would have been much easier. It is extremely strong and has a very sharp flat front edge. If you want to use it for regular cookies, there would be difficulty lifting them unless you had a lot of room in between, but for big cookies it would be heavenly! I used to make a lot of wedding cakes with a fountain and I wish I had this years ago! Sturdy, long lasting, and professional, this would be a great addition for any serious baker!

finally a substantial lifter
The lifter is substantial and sturdy enabling me to lift an entire cake with no problems. The only drawback for me at least, is that I would like a sharp leading edge to get under soft or gooey items.
