This Victorio multi-use canner with encapsulated base heats evenly and eliminates guesswork to simplify canning. With color-coded "zone" settings, the temperature gauge/thermometer on top of the lid measures temperature of steam, and indicates by zone when to begin steam canning according to elevation. Unique dual-use stainless-steel rack transforms the stockpot into a water bath canner. To use rack for water bath canning, adjust handles from locked position and hook onto sides of pot. Fold handles under rack rim for steam canning. Multi-use pot is a large stainless-steel stockpot to simmer soup, stew or chili, boil pasta or shellfish. Vent holes in the tempered glass lid release steam to prevent boilovers. Cool-touch silicone-covered handles allow safe transport. Includes instructions. Suitable for electric, gas, ceramic, glass, halogen and induction cooktops. Hand wash. Canning jar capacity: 7 quart jars or 8 pint jars.
