WELL WORTH THE WAIT
I WAITED A LONG TIME FOR THIS TO GO ON SALE AND WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. THIS PAN IS PERFECT FOR SAUCES, PUDDINGS AND MY FAVORITE BROWNIE RECIPE. COOKING ON AN ELECTRIC STOVE CAN BE DIFFICULT WITH LIGHT WEIGHT PANS, NOT SO WITH ALL-CLAD. THIS PAN IS HEAVY, DURABLE, AND HEATS EVENLY. I AM NOW DETERMINED TO SAVE FOR THE 1 AND 3 QUART SIZES.

My "Caramel Maker"
Having recently conquered my fear of making caramel, this pot is the perfect tool. I can better gauge the color of the sugar as it begins to caramelize, as opposed to a dark bottom pot that I had been using. I use pan to clarify butter and to make all kinds of sauces and gravies. It cleans up really well, and the heat distribution is very even. So far, this is my favorite pan to reach for. I'm slowly but surely replacing my stove top pots and pans with All-Clad. The quality is worth the investwment.

A very nice pot
I bought the two quart - it has so many uses, it's not just a saucier. I love the shape, inside and out. I may have to get the 1 qt., too. Like all All-Clad products, the worst burnt-on mess is easily cleaned up with Bar Keeper's Friend and will look new for years and years to come.

Rounded Edges for Easy Clean-up and Even Cooking
Since I bought this All-Clad MC2 Saucier about two years ago, I've been praising its rounded edges and even cooking. Yes, it's great for making sauces, but also for making things like oatmeal or rice (especially risotto) that usually stick in the edges of a fry pan or pot. In a pinch, it doubles as our second fry pan.

Excellent Pan
The 1-quart saucier is one of my most used and favorite pans. This pan is perfect for making reductions and sauces. Excellent quality construction, excellent heat distribution, excellent ease of cleaning - in a word: EXCELLENT.

Best Cookware Ever
My first All-Clad purchase was an MC2 3 quart saucier that I bought from a little specialty shop in Nashville, TN over 10 years ago. I paid a fortune for it, but after using it, I fell in love with it. I began to look for more. Since then I have bought a piece every year or 2 from CHEFS and now have a collection of 9 pieces. I have since bought a 1 quart saucier from CHEFS which has a million uses. I'm sure my set will out live me; my daughter is happy about that, too. My best tip for keeping it clean is to never let soap or detergent touch your good cookware. That way food will never stick. All you have to do is simply rinse with warm water and lightly scrub if necessary, but if soap never touches the surface food won't stick.
