Use and Care Instructions
Before using for the first time, wash in hot, soapy water with a sponge or dishcloth. Rinse in hot water and dry thoroughly. Hand-wash only throughout the life of the cookware.
Most recipes recommend placing cookware on low heat for one or two minutes before adding foods. Before cooking, wipe the nonstick surface with a small amount of cooking oil on a paper towel and wipe off excess oil. The use of nonstick cooking spray is not recommended as it may interfere with the nonstick surface's cooking performance.
Low to medium heat setting is recommended for optimal cooking performance.
It is best to use only plastic, nylon, silicone or wood utensils. Metal utensils are safe to use, but sharp metal implements may scratch the nonstick surface. All-Clad Nonstick is safe for the oven up to 500 F, but should not be place under the broiler.
Do not wash All-Clad Nonstick in the dishwasher. The nonstick surface is extremely easy to clean without scrubbing. Allow the cookware to cool; wash in warm, soapy water and dry immediately after each use. Do not use oven cleaners or cleansers with chlorine bleach. Do not use steel wool. Nylon scrubbing pads are safe to use.
The stainless-steel exterior requires minimum care. Polish pan with a non-chlorine stainless-steel cleaner. Add a little water to cleaner to make paste. Using a soft cloth, rub paste in a circular motion over cookware. Wash in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse well and dry immediately.
Acidic foods will not discolor your nonstick cookware. Food films, if not removed, may cause discoloration on the pan when it is reheated. This will not affect the nonstick properties and can be easily removed with a paste of baking soda and water.
