The product was a lot thinner then what I expected for a La Creuset product. However the large batch of homemade soup did not stick to the bottom of the pot during simmer. I am sure that if I do not scracth the surface, it will last a long time.

Le Creuset 16-Qt Stockpot
Love the green color and the heavy duty quality of the pot. No problems with sticking while making raspberry jam!

Great cookware!
We've used le Creuset before and it is well worth the price. The finish is excellent, allows for cooking with even temperature. For the quality of iron used in the put it is surprisingly light weight. We fix big lots of soups and stews (we love leftovers) and this pot allows for that quite easily.
We'd recommend this to anyone!

This stockpot is wonderful. I have wanted one for years and decided it was time. Using this stock pot is a dream well worth the wait.

Great deal!
Received this stockpot on Tuesday, made soup for 20 on Wednesday. My husband burned some of the soup in the pot and it cleaned so amazingly easy. Great for anyone who likes to cook in Quantity. Size is perfect and it cleans like a dream.

NOT AS SHOWN
The pot was of poor quality, the metal was extremely thin like one you would find at a discount store. This was not at all what I would have expected from Le Creuset.

Product Great Delivery BAD
I am not sure you really want this review but you asked for it so here it is.
The Stock Pot is fantastic!
However, I had ordered it for a Christmas Present for my Sister-In-Law and it was listed as in stock and shiping within 4-7 days. BUT it never came until the end of March.

Le Creuset 16-Quart Stockpot
I purchased the 16-Quart and intended to purchase the 12-Quart and am currently awaiting the replacement. However, with respect to review, we had the 12-Quart in the past that my mom gave us for a wedding gift 19 years ago. We loved it!! It was the perfect pot to cook chili or a large amount of soup in for a big crowd. It did not wear out and would not have needed replacing if my husband had not burned it beyond recognition a few weeks back, by leaving frozen chili in it to unthaw and leaving the house to "go walk about" as he likes to call it when he visits friends. Anyway, all was well and only the smoke detector went off and and thank God there was no fire involved. We miss our stockpot and can't wait to get our replacement!!!
