Love Le Crueset
This is my second Le Creuset French Oven. I also have the 71/2 quart. They're beautiful as well as functional. Cook evenly, retain heat, well-made, and easy to clean.

I am thrilled with my new Le Creuset 4 1/2 Quart French oven. The round shape is practical and the size is perfect for my family of four, and more. I love the even cooking achieved, and cleaning is a breeze.

Fabulous Purchase!
Lusted after this pan for a LONG time and finally spent the $. Worth every penny! Used it on stove top and in the oven, and it cleaned up like a dream.

Must have product
This is the perfect sized pot to have! If you only can buy one Le Creuset this is the one to get. It is perfect for roasts, soups, gumbo, and hot cider. I bought the red and I love it. I have the larger 5 1/4 French Oven, but it is overkill for most things. Le Creuset heats evenly, and retains heat well. It really takes some serious effort to actually burn anything with these pots. And they clean up with minimal effort. If you are just not sure, I have to say this will be the best decision you ever make. No kitchen should be without this pot.

Worth the Money Spent
Though this pot is very heavy, I will not hesitate to buy another. The superior heat retention properties are the best I have ever encountered.
I hesitated to move from earlier versions that were non-stick to enamel, but have not regretted doing so.

Great Pot
This is a really great pot in a great size. I have both the 3.5 quart and the 5.5 quart le creuset french ovens, but decided to purchase this one since the 4.5 quart is often difficult to find. It's really the perfect size for stews and soups. I often find that the 3.5 is a little too small, and the 5.5 is a little too big, so this is the pefect compromise. Also, the color is great--a nice deep eggplant color!

Pure Satisfaction
I was eyeing on this pot for a while after an extensive online research. After alot of debate I decided to get one.
when it arrived, it was exactly what I wanted. Perfect craftmanship and perfect size. Can't be happier. I love it so much I want to get another one now!
