Love this product
First it's beautiful just sitting out and I have gotten many comments on it. It also works like a charm chopping herbs with ease. It's well made and I plan on buying more for friends and family for Christmas. Thank you for offering such a wonderful product.

fair
hard to clean between the blades without fear of cutting myself. Also no blade protector, so has to be packed back in the carton that it came in. Cuts okay, but a single blade would have been easier to use.

You Will Love This!
I have purchased a number of herb snippers, cutters, and choppers over the years (most from this website), but this handy little gadget is without peer. The rounded depression in the cutting board is what truly sets this apart, as it allows you to fully use the mezzluna blade with a minimal, easy rocking motion. You won't believe how easy it is to efficiently chop herbs to the consistency desired with this tool.
Even my preteen niece and nephew loved to help with prep when they could use this nifty weapon. They can safely do so because one hand rests well above the blade on the handle and the other is off the board completely well out of slicing range. The cutting board holds the target securely in place while merry chopping ensues!
At the discounted price, this is a real deal. I recently bought a second one for my mother. It's great!

Love it
It chops quick and and easy, is fun, and I am so happy to have my garlic or nuts stay in the bowl instead of flying around the counter (as with flat boards). Good price. I should have bought this years ago. You do need to be a bit careful with getting whatever is stuck to the chopper off (like garlic) since there are 2 blades and it's not a simple swipe off the knife.

More hassle than help
The idea of the mezzaluna appealed to me, but I didn't find it practical. I already chop herbs, garlic, nuts, etc. very fast and I found the mezzaluna to be ungainly and messy. Instead of keeping everything close to the board, I felt that I had less control. Also, the board is now stained green after the first use as the wood absorbed the chlorophyl and no amount of scrubbing could get it out. If you are looking to speed up a slow chopping hand, then perhaps this would work for you.

Finally one that works!
I have had various kitchen implements and an assortment of bowls for chopping, but the Mezzaluna is tops. Not only are the blades sharp but the bowl provides easy access while keeping the chopped pieces from flying about the room. Don't know what I did before I found it! I think every cook should have one.

Mezzaluna
My Italian mother taught me a lot of things in the kitchen about food and life, but she didn't have this tool. It is just the best kitchen assistant, other than Mom, that you'll ever have. It's cleanly sharp, and the concave board makes quick work of any herb, nut, or small ingredient. These make wonderful gifts for all the Foodies on your list.
