too much work
IMPOSSIBLE to ASSEMBLE!!! We started assembling this island with the drawer, which was not made correctly to assemble. The design says "tight fitting" which is not true for the entire design once finished. The assembly instructions are not written well (nothing was labeled or numbered, you had to measure and guess which pieces were which), and we were missing pieces. The bag of small pieces was staggering when we started and if you have less than two people to assemble I recommend a diferent item. My fiance and I got the nightmare to assemble finished by sheer luck and perserverence. If I knew exactly how ridiculus of a project this would be for 350$ I would have purchased a different product.

"SOME" assembly required?
This island as advertised is beautiful and a huge added work space in my kitchen. I love it. However, the "some assembly required" is more like ALL assembly and missing 2 screws required. My fiance' spent hours fighting with tons of small wooden pieces and screws, calling it quote "a nightmare" to assemble. For a $349 price tag, this should be much less work.
