Sharp out of the box
My first use was rewarded with an easy one stroke cut! Unlike a store bought set of Wustoffs that have never held an edge.

Fantastic Knife
This knife is well worth the cost. I was skeptical at first as the price seemed abit stiff believing a knife of lesser cost could be just as effective. I was wrong. I tested this knife on both grilled fillet mignons and a large rump roast to compare cutting ease and was stunned at how thin I could slice the meat with little or no effort. The feel was ample and while my some of my other german knives presented a slightly "more appealing style of handle," they couldn't compare to ease of cut and maintainment of sharpness from the various types of meat. A fine addition to any cutlery desired in a modern kitchen.

Just the right size!
I bought the Wusthof Classic carving knife and the 8" Wusthof curved fork together and they make the job so easy .The knife cuts with little effort. The handle is the right size for small hands. They carved the ham just the way I like-perfect.It was a good buy...

Classic Carving knife Succeeds again
Replaced our existing classic carving knife we had for 10 years.
Easily scratched with abrasive green sponge.
No complaints but will not tolerate a fall on ceramic tile.

A great knife
Like all Wusthof knives this one is beyond comparison.Most importantly CHEFS was the only retailer that had this particular model available and ready for purchase.
For carving turkey, prime rib and any other large meat or fowl, this one is the best.

THE BEST
I am not a great chef but am getting a few of these knives at a time in order to complete a set for my father, who is. He loves them and says these are the absolute BEST. A little pricey so I buy when they're on sale. You can't go wrong with these Wusthof Classics.
