Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and garlic chili paste. In a second small bowl, combine cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper. In a large bowl, toss together cut sweet potatoes and garlic chili paste mixture. Add spice mixture and toss to evenly coat.
Arrange coated potatoes in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes or until tender, turning potatoes over half-way through cooking.
In a small bowl, mix together sour cream, garlic, lime juice, garlic chili paste, salt and pepper.
Remove potatoes from oven and serve hot with garlic chili paste dipping sauce. Makes 4 to 6 servings as a side dish.
