Strawberry Pie


1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 3 ounce box strawberry Jell-O
1 quart strawberries, hulled and washed
Pie crust:
1 cup Bisquick
1/2 stick butter, sliced thin
3 tablespoons boiling water

Cooking Instructions

Combine sugar, cornstarch, water, and Jell-O in a small saucepan. Cook until thickened to form glaze.

Mix Bisquick, butter, and water and press into greased glass pie plate, on bottom and up sides. Bake at 375 F for 10 minutes, then at 200 F for 4-10 minutes. Watch so it doesn't get too brown.

Place strawberries in shell and pour glaze over top. Chill and serve with whipped cream.

Note: If preferred, use Basic Pastry Dough.
