Place the rice in the bottom of an electric rice cooker. Fill with water or chicken broth to the appropriate line according to manufacturer's instructions. Add the lemongrass, ginger and salt and stir to combine. Place the lid on the rice cooker and set to cook.
Once the rice is fully cooked, fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
