Butter Shortcake with Fruit
An old-fashioned favorite!
Ingredients

sugar

baking powder

1/4 teaspoon

salt

1/2 teaspoon

butter, softened

milk

Cooking Instructions
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease and flour shortcake pan; set aside. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except berries and whipped cream. Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping bowl often. Pour batter into pan, dividing evenly. Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-20 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes in pan; invert onto cooling rack and cool completely. Serve with fresh berries and whipped cream. Makes 6 servings.
