Peanut Brittle
Ingredients

pure cane sugar

light corn syrup

raw peanuts

3 tablespoons

butter

1 teaspoon

salt

baking soda

Cooking Instructions
Line two baking sheets with foil. Grease foil with butter or nonstick spray. In a large, heavy bottom sauce pan attach a candy thermometer to the pan leaving it 1 inch off of the bottom. Add sugar, syrup,& water to the pan and stir to combine. Over medium low heat bring mixture to a full boil. Allow to boil until the sugar mixture spins a thread (230 F). Add peanuts. Stirring continuously, cook until hard crack stage (325 F) on candy thermometer. Remove from heat, and working quickly, add butter salt, and soda. Stir quickly to incorporate and immediately pour on buttered foil. When candy has completely cooked, break into pieces.
