Broadmoor Tavern Blue Cheese and Onion Bread Pudding
Savory bread pudding is a treat at any meal!
Ingredients

4 loaves

French bread, large diced

eggs, beaten
|
|
4 cups
|
heavy cream
|
|
1/2 tablespoon
|
Kosher salt
|
|
1 1/2 tablespoons
|
white pepper
|
|
1/2 pound
|
caramelized yellow onion
|
|
1/2 cup (1 stick)
|
butter, melted
|
|
3/4 pound
|
blue cheese, crumbled
|
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter one 12 inch x 18 inch x 2 1/2 inch baking pan, set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients together and mix well. Place mixture into prepared pan. Place pan into a water bath and place into heated oven. Bake until the pudding is just set. Remove the pudding from the water bath. Allow pudding to cool slightly before serving.
