8 ounces butter, as needed
6 eggs
2 cups milk
3 ounces butter, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1 teaspoon salt

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 F.

Butter 12 popover cups. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and melted butter, until mixture is frothy.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Beat in the liquid gradually until mixture is smooth and well blended. Fill prepared popover cups three quarters full.

Place popover cups in oven. Reduce heat to 375 F and bake for 50 minutes. Serve immediately.

Yeilds 12 individual servings.
