Simple Syrup


1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water

Cooking Instructions

Put sugar and water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer. Stir until sugar completely dissolves, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat and cool syrup to room temperature. Pour syrup into clean glass jar with tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate. Use within one month.
