Salsa Verde de Tomatillo

Salsa Verde de Tomatillo


5 tomatillos, husks removed
4 medium jalapenos, stems removed
1/2 medium onion
1/2 cup cilantro, coarsely chopped
2 to 3 large garlic cloves
  Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

Add tomatillos, jalapenos and onion to medium-sized sauce pan. Add enough water to cover the tops of the tomatillos (about 2 cups). Cook on low to medium heat until all ingredients are soft.

Transfer the cooked mixture (including the liquid) to a blender. Add the remaining ingredients and puree.

Serve and enjoy!
